Yea, I texted him last night and we talked back and forth a few hours. I think everything is better. The booty call is in the past. I doubt I’ll see him this weekend because of Valentine’s but that’s ok.
Yea this was the first time I said no. I was just like “Sorry I can’t tonight, I have to get up early for an audition. Rain Check?”
And he hasn’t said anything in response, I think it was a drunk text and maybe he’s a little embarrassed.
It’s been like normal conversation between us. We do a lot of flirty banter and joking around. Catching up on the last four months etc.
I haven’t hit him up since Monday when I replied to his booty call text and said no. Should I say something? He has surgery next Tuesday for his skin cancer.
We’ve just been hanging out, getting drinks, talking, etc. we have been intimate.

I’m in a pickle and I could use your help. My ex and I started talking and we have hung out three weekends in a row now. I also found out he has skin cancer and had to have surgery next week and start some therapy. This week he sent me a booty call text at 1 am Monday and called me. I declined.
I haven’t heard from him since. What do I do?
That’s interesting that she keeps the letter on her nightstand. maybe she is still conflicted over her feelings for you?
I’m glad you have made peace with everything. Who knows, maybe you all will reconcile in the future. But you are right its important to focus on the future.

This was almost 10 pm so I decided not to respond right away, I was out.
How should I respond in the morning? Should I say a little bit about what’s been going on and ask what’s new with him? Or should I just say something positive and end the convo?
I’m just so shocked. You have no idea… To go from him not talking to me… to him responding with exclamation points, asking me how I’m doing and initiating further conversation. Wow, I guess he doesn’t hate me after all. 😀
