Oh BTW Steve, I watched a bit of 40 year old virgin and hahahahahahaha that movie is funny, I must’ve watched it a hundred times before but I haven’t in a while until now… if you’re anything like Steve Carell’s character you’re a gem!
And you never told me what you do for work. I’m studying beauty therapy and loving it so I’ll be a beauty therapist pretty soon and also I’m a published poet (hahaha, beauty and poet what a weird combo! lol) … I’m also saving to go live in Sydney because it’s my favourite place to live in the world 🙂 … And would like to thank you Steve for encouraging me to do the things I love (like going to Sydney)… I would never normally do something like that by myself but I’m gonna Do IT! … I’m spending xmas and new years with my family in ghost town (aka adelaide) then heading to the big city, can’t wait 😀
What are your short term plans? Perhaps a visit to OZ? 😉

I totally agree with you! This playfulness has been so fun lately. I feel glad and lucky for it! I am not sure if it is like compare apple and banana but it was more fun than those rough platonic dates! It further helped me to gain my confidence.
It would be a lie if I say that the idea of my ex did not though my mind but I should also say that it’s been a weeks that even emotional part of my mind also don’t want her back!

Maybe it was 8 or 9 years ago that I was low because of a break that I found an apparently devastated guy smoking cigarettes. He told me that he had committed suicide a week ago and got off the hospital hours ago. Eventually, we became best friends till this moment. Later we started doing a study on girls. Maybe for weeks of months, we dated (or talked) to different girls to understand what they perceive about the world. Our intention was to become knowledgeable enough to read minds. Later we talked and shared our findings! Yes! We got the science through practice. It was simple. Being a good listener and paying attention to details was one of the most important keys! Girls in general love it when you listen to them and eventually come up with some conclusions. A.z. is another example! Ha ha ha ha… Yeah! I am good in paying attention to details!
My last ex was professional! I am sure that she has read a lot of books like Relationship Rewind and counterattacked me!! ha ha ha ha… Plus she would play it ugly/dirty. She would lie to make her mind games more effective!a.z.,

When I imagine what you are doing lately as a movie or story, I enjoy it. You date so often and at the end you go to see if your ex is in her house? Believe me I like this combination of feelings! It reminds me of some movies in which the broken hearted guy does sex not because he is in love but because he is angry! Maybe it’s revenge sex!

Steve – I’d love to have a kiwi friend I lived in Australia for 2 years (Sydney mostly) but I’ve never been to NZ so I’m very happy to have a NZ friend now!
Dara – I’m female, aged 39, but feel, act and look 25 lol 😉 I’m Irish, I love gymnastics, books, going to the pub (surprise surprise) and I consider myself very funny – I think I have Oscar Wilde’s wit :-). I’m a disaster with men having only been in love twice and if I could change anything about myself it would be my extreme independence and stubbornness (both these things may have cost me my two loves).

Late reply are welcome here. Haha! Everyone’s like that most of the times. It’s only dara and az who are talking to each other here 24/7! Haha!Well, it was bound to happen someday. Thousands of people coming to this website after a bad breakup. It was inevitable someone will hook up. I am glad for the love birds here.
I have been away for a while but am glad to see the community is still strong and helpful as ever. A couple of things though.
a) I am going to move oldies to the “not your ex” forum ’cause I think it’s no longer relevant in the reconciliation forum.
b) If @Dara and @a.z wanted, you could’ve just contacted me via the contact form on the website and I would’ve given you each others contact info. Just putting it out there in case someone else would like to hook up.
I know private messaging will make it easier for people to interact with each other privately, but it’ll also open the doors for a lot of spammers (spell casters and the likes) who might try to scam new users. Which is why I’ve decided against it for now.

Sorry I haven’t been visiting, I’m doing great and still with my gf. It’s so good to read all of your comments and stories, I’ve missed you guys. Good to see everyone is doing so well 🙂 I live in California too haha. Dara and a.z., thank you for helping everyone out there and helping everyone out. I love helping out others too and couldn’t believe that I felt so miserable after break up. Everyone’s comments and giving myself time to self reflect has made me a stronger person. I am a happier person now and life is great giving me the opportunity to meet you guys. I still have a month before school starts, I’ll try and visit you guys when I can. Thanks Kevin, for making all of this happen. You guys are the best!
