@LAbound, thanks. i am starting to feel a little better. its all good days and bad days. its funny my ex and i spoke last week and he actually told me he hopes I’m also taking this time to date other guys because he doesnt want me to have doubts if we reconcile down the road so now that we’re already taking time apart, he thinks i should give myself a chance to date others. i actually have been seeing someone! keeping it very slow/casual and no expectations but its been nice.

I’m definitely shifting focus away from how long it will take because there is truly no way to predict it. i need to be happy and just evaluate if the time comes and he comes back. anything can happen i guess! I’m such a planner for the future and really hate the unknown, so this is a huge life lesson and learning experience for me! I’m trying to follow in your footsteps throughout this process!
