Well guys, the relationship with the new girl……is over!!!
Ex admitted that he thought we were getting close and it scared him so basically he went out and rebelled!
He been in the relationship for 6 weeks and for the last few days he’s been asking me how to let her down gently haha!
Bit of a surreal position to be in.
Anyway we have spoke and he says that he just wants to be honest with me and that at the minute he can’t think about us getting back together as he still has a lot of anger about the break up but he says he can’t say never as he just doesn’t know. I said first of all he needs to clear his head(this girl really sucked him in) and get back to his old self.
I’m thinking the best thing to do is takes things day by day, we have always been close but helping him get through this relationship has bought us even closer, he has started coming back round a lot and texting more. He knows exactly how I feel about him.
Any advice for me to not ruin this chance 🙂This is a tough one as the question is has he come back because you dependable and always available.
Just be careful, I am not sure I could get back or talk to my ex if they had gone off with someone. Let alone ask something of me that basically his best friend should be doing. Telling him how to break the girl off.
Just take is slow build up the attraction again make new first time memories.
I say just keep doing what you’re doing. You can’t really ruin this. He’s asked you for your help in breaking up with another girl he’s seeing. He already told you, you wouldn’t be getting back together right away, anyway. What he decides after he ends this relationship is completely unpredictable at this point.
He just said what will be will be. He said this last week he saw how much I really cared for him, he didn’t actually realise!
He said he wishes he could change thins but he can’t go back and undo the past.
He still ‘seeing’ this girl but admitted its a rebound n he just wants a bit of fun.
Guess I just hold back for now and concentrate on myself.
He is definatly showing more feelings towards me. He sat holding me last night for ages, I didn’t want him to let go.
