    Wow.

    Broken. Devastated. Lost. Empty.

I could go on with the descriptive words, but you get the idea. Somewhere, somehow, I made the wrong choices and decisions in life, and it’s gotten me to where I am now.

A little back story on the relationship:

We’ve been together for 2 years, damn, almost to the date. We got engaged last year and bought a house together. In November of last year. Before we bought the house we were best friends. Once we moved in together…we started having fights. Things started going down hill this spring. However, we would definitely have some good times.

Very recently, we started sleeping in separate bedrooms, which was me trying to give her space. We had recently cancelled the wedding, and were going through some financial hardships.

We would have good times hanging out and cuddling….watching tv…and then I would leave…and she would want me to stay.

    I’m very emotionally stupid.

So, she decided to break everything off with me a few days ago. I’m trying to come to grips with it…and follow the No Contact rule…but it’s super hard.

She keeps saying she knows in her heart that its the right thing to do. I of course…don’t feel that way…because she was thinking one thing about how I was acting…when it was me just trying to give her space.

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sorry…lol…that was me trying to let go of some of my frustrations.

Anyways…what do you guys think? You think this is salvageable? We were best friends…and because I’m stubborn with things…and never communicated properly..I messed things up.

    Any advice would be awesome.

    are you still living together?
you could try to stay out of sight as much as possible, but nothing very uncommon which might make her think that you are seeing someone else.

When you are together at home, if it is the case, keep yourself active cleaning the house or smth. Prepare or order something she likes to eat and plan something she likes to do and invite her. I think it will make her feel special, but just in case NC is not working. That is what I would do.

staying home ignoring one another without doing anything or keeping yourself busy with your own individual things won’t help, believe me

    Nope. Not living together anymore.

From what I’ve heard from her family, she’s of a strong mind on this breakup. She seems to want a man with Christian values, which I believe in, but never really communicated that to her. I’m a man of science, so the problem I have with all of that is the science of the bible, not the actual values. We’ve discussed that and I get the feeling that she thinks that I can’t uphold her Christian values.

I plan on going to church where we used to go, but at the earlier service. The early service is the one her sister goes to. Hopefully her sister sees me and reports back to my ex. Just as a way of indirectly showing her who I really am and not breaking the no contact rule.
