Hi Everyone,
My ex-contacted me today but I am not entire sure what to do. She text me saying “Hi, Can I ring?” – I have not replied to her or made any effort to contact her. Of-course she would know that I have ignored the message as we both use whatsapp (the message was an SMS and NOT a whatsapp message). But I use whatsapp regularly so she would have known that I have checked the phone.
My plan at the moment is to ignore the message continue head strong to following the no contact but I do want to know what she has to say. She is not going to say that she misses me or she isnt going to say that she has made a mistake etc. She is a bit stubborn for that. She is probably calling to check up on me.
Anyway let me know your thoughts on what you would do if your ex contacts you during NC!
Just keep the conversation short and simply, and don’t bring up anything about your relationship. That’s what some of the guys here taught me. If you have to meet up with her because it’s unavoidable, try to show that you’re doing fine, if you are not, try your best to pretend that you are, but don’t make it obvious that you’re pretending because this will just blow your whole plan off.
Hoping more of us can get out of this stage. 🙂
Stay strong on NC. If you are sure she isn’t reconciling (she isn’t) I’ve been there thought the same things and it wasn’t that. Continue NC eventually I’m sure she will try to get to you anyway possible. That’s what happened to me.

I’m really tempted to get back to my ex, but I know better. I don’t know what else I can do if he DOES contact me though. So these posts here give me a good idea on how to act.
I do want to get back with my ex but I don’t think she misses me enough yet. If we are going to meet again, I need to be ready emotional and I need to show her how awesome my life can be.

When my ex contacted me during No Contact, I’ve just sent her a very short message (5-6 words), only telling her that I have no time to meet her nowadays. (She left it as it is. She hasn’t contacted me since then, and it was a month ago.) But leaving her without any reply would have been too much rude, I think. It’s against my standards.
