Need Advice for Complicated Situation

My situation is complicated. It happened because of a lack of trust which makes sense due to how the relationship started. I was with someone when him and I met. He said he liked me and I said I think I was developing feelings but I had a boyfriend. Then we continued talking and it almost was like the boyfriends was ignored for 3 months. Granted my boyfriend and I barely talked and were on bad terms but we did see each other a couple times during this time and the new guy didn’t know about those. Eventually. I told him about everything. He rightfully was upset but was willing to work on it together and rebuild trust and fix things. Now it has been 6 months and it felt like his trust continued to go down over time. He was very worried about me cheating and broke up because of the stress in the last week and thinking I broke his trust even though I felt like I was doing well. Like I went out to hang out with a friend and he knew who and where and I messaged him until he said he was going to bed but he got upset about not getting updates after that. In addition there is another complication where he has untreated voices in his head and they would just reaffirm and state the worries that I was cheating etc. He said he still loves me but he doesn’t see this working out. And it seems like he misses me but he has said previously he doesn’t give second chances and it just doesn’t make sense. It also just seems a lot of it may be due to the voices so I don’t know if I would be able to wait until they calm down(he said they are in control right now) and then try to restart in a way because of trust. I don’t know at all. It feels so weird. Like I understand going no contact but in this situation no idea how long for or if there is even hope.
