I had been seeing a guy for a couple of months.
Everything moved very quickly, he told me he loved me within 2 weeks and I did too, told my children he wanted to marry their mummy. Everything was perfect and we felt like soul mates. We just clicked and it all felt so right.
He’s come out of a relationship 4 months ago and has a few stresses in his life like we all do. Anyway he left saying goodbye, the next day he told me he felt like everything was too much at the moment and needed to get his life back on track. He didn’t want to slow things down just cut me off completely.I haven’t made a huge amount of contact but have spilt my heart out and asked if he would let me wait for him, he replied “I can’t do that, I’m sorry”.
I’ve had hardly a word from him.
I want him back, I just can’t understand how you can be so utterly in love then end it.. I do understand his reasons I do.. My question is should I go no contact and wait for him?No don’t wait for him. Live your life! If it’s meant to be, he will return. How long was his last relationship? 4 months isn’t a long enough time to get over anyone so that’s really concerning. Sounds like he may have been infatuated in the beginning and now those feelings may have worn off.
