My bf broke up with me a little over 2 weeks ago and we haven’t spoke since then. It ended on a bad note him saying he hated me after a year and a half together. He’s been posting things on twitter that I know are to upset me and tweets about me but acts like he’s perfectly fine! He’s been drinking and partying ever since we broke up. Anyways, this past weekend I went to a party that he was at and he ended up making a big scene because I was there even though I said nothing to him nor did I even look at him. He ended up pushing his best friend through 2 windows because his friend said that my ex was acting like such a baby about me being there and my ex freaked on him. Then my ex came over to where I was (my ex’s roommate and I were taking) and started yelling at his roommate for his key and then he looked at me and yelled that his ex was coming to pick him up and all I said was “ok, I don’t care” and then he started going completely nuts calling me a b**** and that I treated him so badly for a year and a half. (He was yelling like this in front of the whole party and his roommate had to end up punching my ex in the face because he was acting so crazy) then the next day he tweeted something like this “when you find out what the person you fell in love with is really like you might just not love them anymore.”
I am so confused as to why he acted that way at the party and tweeted that but then also acts like he’s not even upset that we are broken up and he’s sooo happy. I’m so heartbroken by the break up but his actions are making me realize maybe he’s not who I really thought he was? Can you guys please share your thoughts on this.. It would help me so much.I forgot to mention, I have recently been talking to a new guy and we have both made that clear on twitter that we talk and face time. Ever since that happened my ex retweeted my new guys tweet and then quote tweeter another one of my new guys tweets that had to do with him and I facetiming?? Why would my ex do that? I’m so confused.
Sorry that you had to witness such a horrible scene.
You must have strong feelings for this guy because, based on what you shared, I would think most people would not want anything to do with someone that acted that way.
I would ask you (in a kind way), what are you confused about?
You titled your post “ex went nuts” and that pretty much sums it up right?
And didn’t he break up with you?
Probably would be healthy for you to keep your distance for a while. That will allow him to miss you and reconsider his actions.
Good luckyeah it’s kinda weird considering he broke up with you. i think he’s probably angry/disappointed that you seem to have moved on so quickly and got another guy. he’s probably thinking that you possibly didn’t love him when you two were together. just speaking from a guy’s POV here.
i agree with meantime. it’s probably best to have some space in between the both of you so that you guys can sort your thoughts out.
