Ex asked me to meet up over a week ago but still haven't heard from him

So quick update we haven’t talked since last time when we agreed we were going to hang out over Christmas break which was a little over a week ago. I haven’t texted him and he hasn’t texted me I thought it would be best to let him contact me because he was the one who suggested we hang out. He came home yesterday from school and he also refollowed me on Instagram. I’m not surprised he hasn’t texted me yet because I think he doesn’t wanna make it seem like texting me to hang out is the first thing he’s looking to do when he’s home but I also don’t know if he refollowed me on Instagram to get my attention like for me to text him or he’s just really really trying to be friends with me (which I obviously don’t want cause I don’t wanna be friend zoned). So I think that I should give it a couple more days to see if he texts me to meet up but Id like feedback on that! Also what do I do after the meet up?! Thanks!
