Emotional reaction from the wrong ex

So somewhat ironic/funny story I thought I would share, mainly because I found it interestig and a little strange.

To quickly summarize I had a girl I was seeing for a few months, started dating about 2-3 months after my ex and I broke up. Went pretty good to start off but pretty quickly realized she wasn’t very interested. Around the 2 month mark it fell apart, but weird thing she still admitted to having feelings, only to go back and say she didn’t anymore about 3 days later. Since I was done with the drama and annoyance as she had been very hot and cold for months I ended up walking away and going completely NC, girl was a big dramatic mess I didn’t need to deal with.

So fast forward to a few days ago, it’s been about 2 months of NC, she has a new bf and all that. Apparently the entire time between the start of NC and now she has been complaining about how I do not talk to her anymore and how I should “get over her”. Then a few days ago I see her while hanging with mutual friends, barely say two words to her. The next morning she invites me on Facebook to her recital (she’s majoring in music), no comments no texts basically this weird olive branch sort of thing.

I guess the point is, I ironically am getting a much more emotional response from the girl I dated for 2 months compared to the ex I dated 2 years. Oh and I thought it was very funny she accused me of not being over it and hung up on her when she’s the one always complaining whenever I come up.
