My ex and I broke up on March 9th but it didn’t really end there because he wanted to remain friends. A few weeks later he started giving me mixed signals so after that went on for about a week I told him I was unsure if I wanted to be friends. He got angry at first but started to break down. At the beginning, I was told no contact would be the best so that’s why I told him that.
Fast forward into 7 days of no contact, I was told that being friends (while adding a bit of flirting) would be the best to rebuild trust, prove that I’m able to make improvements to a possible new relationship (I was too emotional), and be the woman he fell in love with. I wanted to know if one of his family members (who’s in New York currently fighting the coronavirus) was okay and I wanted him to know that I was still there for him. He replied to me right away. The next day, I asked if he wanted to watch some technology videos (he LOVES technology) with me over the phone but I got no response. I’m really scared that I messed up by saying I was unsure if I wanted to be friends the first time. I feel like I hurt him by saying that. My questions are if you guys think I ruined my chances and if I can come back from this? I do still want to be his girlfriend but I fear he’ll continue to ignore me.

@Rachael He broke up with you March 9th, but apparently you two continued to contact each other. Then after a couple of weeks you decided to do no contact, but broke it to ask about one of his family members. It’s unclear why he didn’t respond to your request to watch a video. And nobody knows if you hurt your chances by saying you were unsure about being friends.

I replied to your other post saying it would be best to keep no contact. He’s been ignoring you so that means he doesn’t want to interact with you at this time.. Keep NO CONTACT and maybe he will initiate something soon to try and resolve any issues you have with each other.
