    My boyfriend broke up with me a week ago, we
    Were actually in love but he didn’t think long distance will work for like 2 years. He said he still love me and don’t want to lose contact with me, but every time I asked him to give me a chance to try this long distance even I gave him my promise, we only ended up upsetting and crying. We broke up but he said he needs time to think about if we can make a long distance relationship works.

    I really love him, it’s killing me everyday because we talk everyday and if he’s still love me, and I really want him to give me a chance.

    But I’m not sure if the five steps will works in this case.

    Please help me 🙁

    give him his space and work on you, then after a month contact him, good luck and keep us posted.

    Hey thank you
    But the situation is he said he didn’t want to lose contact and we spoke normally for a couple days after I said I’ll give him time and space.
    I don’t know what to say if I want NC. Will he misunderstand?

    You don’t need to explain what exactly you are doing.If he keeps contacting you,just tell him that you think both of you need some time and you will contact him later.

    Now you don’t have to say anything.You want him to be wondering what happened to your feelings,what you may be doing…. .
    You should only say that if he KEEPS CONTACTING you.(like every day or so many times)

    So I just stop talking to him for without telling him even though we still have normal contact ( like sometimes he said I miss you or love you)

    It’s really struggling 🙁

    If you’re not ok with that,text him and say that you have been thinking and you feel like both of you need some space.wish him all the best and start NC.It has to be nothing more than that.

    God my ex boyfriend just told me that he’s feeling zero support or help from you in everything at the moment.
    Which it’s not true I can’t stop thinking or encouraging him.

    Just ignore him for a little while.You should follow the plan.He’s being emotional and thats a good thing.Even if he gets mad at you,says something bad about you,its ok.He ‘s being emotional and you don’t have to care about it.
