    Hi,
after break up, for almost 11 months, we didnt have much of or any contact! Then out of the blue, i receive a text from her asking me how i was doing. She said she saw me the other day and that i was looking rly good. And that she just wanted to know if i am ok. I didnt answer her, just read it and left it there. But i realized after a few months, that i was still hooked on her, so i decided writing her a heartfelt message. Explaining my feelings and wished her a good life and a good man. She responded with her wishes for a good life! I tried asking her out after a few days, but she replied angrily and in lot of detail that it aint happening!
A week after the message, i used an excuse to talk to her. I asked her about helping me how to look for a summer job. She responded really well! So, i thought, lets talk and see where it goes. As soon as we got talking, she started telling me everything since the break up. About her experiences, her memories of us not being together, about family matters, and then asking me about what i wrote in my heartfelt prior message. After all that she asked me about my life since then. At the end, she asked me if i was seeing anyone, told her “no” and she added that neither is she.
So, i contacted her every few days by phone. And everytime we talked, she would tell me about her days and what she did, all the time, getting more sweet with me. All seemed to go very well and suddenly she stopped all contact. In any case, i tried contacting her to tell her how i felt, and for my bad luck, she didnt even pick up or read my texts on messenger. Then i saw, that she posted something on facebook a few hours after my calls/texts. And i went on berserk mode, asking her why she did this, and begged her to answer me and let me go!
Next morning, she reads it and asks me what happened, she was asleep! Told her to call me as soon as she can and that i ll explain it to her.
On the call, i asked her why she ignored me like that and gave me some bs excuses, like needing 2 hands to answer me… So, i said whatever and proceeded to start talking. Before i even started, she wanted to tell me that ever since i called her unreliable more than a year ago, she didnt feel that way. Told her i dont wanna hear her and muted it. A few secs later, after i sensed she was done, i told her that i didnt hear what she said and i was sorry. So, i proceeded to tell her everything that i had felt since the break up, about friends, big events in my life and about still loving her, though not needing her, and how big a scar our break up left me. She didnt react, just kept quiet and listened to me all the time. After all that, she told me she didnt want something like that. So i asked her, why did she ask me about my current relationship status and told me hers. She said she didnt know, twice, propably because the chat brought it there! Ever since, she has gone to warm, to cold, to the same ignoring calls and texts. So i called her out on it and told me that she is busy with work and going through a phase. She also added that i can get that however i wanted. So, i answered i am not! Told her you hanged up my calls and ignored me again! I am letting you go now and i hope u feel well soon. And added after a while, that i get she is rly working hard and about her phase, i can only respect it! She just read it with no answer… So, i need to understand, where i stand and what is most likely her thinking. Also, I should add that she works in an island, where i ll be working as well, in 15 days time.

She was just trying to be kind and friendly. You don’t have to ask her to “let” you go, she already did almost 11 months ago and there has been almost no contact since then. It seems she really doesn’t want contact with you. Try to accept the situation without anger or resentments.
