Just on NC should I request a rule?

Ha been on a month NC with my mature girlfriend. Sent her flowers and she was happy about that. But she hadn’t figured herself out yet and needed time. So after a bit of messaging back and forth we’re back on NC. After almost a week I just had this nagging feeling that if she found someone else. I just wanted so badly to send a brief message that it would be respectful and decent to let each other know if that should happen. Bad idea to break NC and send such a message?
